Five for Friday - 7/11/14

Linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday! :) Another week has come and gone. Where has summer gone?!
This week was the final week in my summer Master's classes. It has been a TON of writing this semester, plus because it's summer, the assignments were crammed close together. Whew! So nice to be completely done with the Meta-Analysis that you can see in the works above. Only one more year to go!
I've been house sitting/dog sitting for the last two weekends. The house is RIGHT around the corner from my dad's. I've been spending a lot of time with him while he finishes up his new deck. Seriously, my dad can fix anything! From hearts (He's a heart surgeon.) to cars (He used to be a mechanic!). He took out all the yuck boards from the deck and is going to seal them soon. Makes me proud to see all that he can do!

Ta-Da!!!! My beautiful new planner from A Modern Teacher. It is huge because I wanted it to be the planner for everything: work, home, Master's, TpT, Blog...you get the picture. :) I edited and printed a ton of pages. So much so that this binding only holds July-December! LOL Hey! A girl's gotta plan!

This week at camp, I introduced task cards and games to my kids in 3-5 grade. They are deaf/hard-of-hearing or they are struggling readers. I used these activities from Ashley Schroeder last year with my high firsties, but they were also perfect for my camp kids. Check them out here!
I've been obsessed with certain backgrounds and clip art lately! Sooo I just had to create! Here is a little activity that I just made for elapsed time. It all has to do with a sleepover! I wish I was a kid so that I could play {learn!} with these task cards! Check them out here.

Be sure to link back up with other teachers! Enjoy your weekend.

    1. Elyse, I know I have a problem. LOL But oh how I love creating! :) I did get a lot of sun time in this weekend though. It was enjoyable to just relax. Hope your weekend was great!
