Another one of my favorites is we use orange plates and have the kids use foam shapes to make a jack-o-lantern face and then add a brown stem. Then we have them graph the shapes they used to make their jack-o-lantern face. Always turns out so cute!!!

recipeforteachingRecipe for Teachinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06190041991112831597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8100240644117756005.post-88561629711501713302014-10-01T20:28:00.479-04:002014-10-01T20:28:00.479-04:00Great display! I start the year teaching about trees and forests, and we always head outside to measure trunk circumference, etc. My colleague and I also have the students research turkeys. Then we write expository pieces. We do our final copies on turkey-shaped stationary.
Jan
Laughter and ConsistencyJanCThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16323714603094527618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8100240644117756005.post-52720742373354439242014-10-01T16:34:51.363-04:002014-10-01T16:34:51.363-04:00I love the look and idea of that display - thanks ...I love the look and idea of that display - thanks for sharing!
Growing Little LearnersPixie Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10138327214815622157noreply@blogger.com
